Powerful Customization Options
InspectionXpert's powerful customization options let you enter inspection methods and processes from user-defined lists and add comments to capture information unique to your company's procedures. Easily change balloon formats including rotating balloons to match the angle of the characteristic, or change the shape, size and location of balloons. Inspection balloons can be added to a separate layer on your SolidWorks drawing which can easily be turned on or off.
Add or modify Inspection Project Properties to capture information such as drawing revision or part name which can be linked to custom properties in your drawing or model. Once data has been added to your custom properties it can be mapped over to your inspection reports.
Set up default tolerances by range or by precision for when an explicit tolerance is not specified and save them to your inspection project settings. Default tolerances can be set for length and angular dimensions.
Supports Quality Sampling Plans
InspectionXpert for SolidWorks supports statistical sampling based on ANSI Z1.4 single sampling by attributes. Simply set the lot size, inspection level inspection type and Acceptance Quality Limit (AQL) and InspectionXpert calculates your sample size, and accept and reject numbers. Populate your inspection report with this information for fast and accurate sampling processes.
Instantly Export to AS9102 and PPAP Forms
You can choose from one of our standard inspection report templates such as AS9102 Forms and PPAP reports, or you can easily create your own custom reports with the InspectionXpert Template Editor.
Create an unlimited number of custom reports to match your existing report format or customize reports for specific clients or vendors. Inspection reports can be created for first article inspections, in process inspections, and final inspections.
Because reports are Excel-based, you have the full power of Excel when designing their inspection report templates. Macros, charts, pivot tables, formulas, conditional formatting and more can all be employed to create unique and powerful reports for increased error-proofing and automation.
