Get Twice as Many Free Exams When You’re on Subscription

SOLIDWORKS customers who have an active subscription service in place are entitled to many benefits.  For many years one of those benefits has been the ability to take some of our certification exams for free.  Up until now customers could get access to seven of our exams by choosing from a list twice a year, once from January 1 through June 30, and then again from July 1 through December 31.  The process was completed by sending a text (SMS) message to a number.

Beginning tomorrow, November 1st, we are introducing a much simpler and accessible way to redeem this valuable  offer.  Essentially all you need is a SOLIDWORKS ID.  What’s a SOLIDWORKS ID?  Think of it as your login to everything SOLIDWORKS related!  With it you can access the customer portal, the knowledge base, the forums, and of course MySolidWorks where we host hundreds of hours of online training materials.

Our friends at Javelin Tech have a couple of good posts that walk you through how to create a SOLIDWORKS ID, as well as how to manage multiple accounts if you’re on a network license.  Click on either link to read up on the process.

Once you have your SOLIDWORKS ID, you’re only a few clicks away from accessing the offer.  To see how it’s completed, join a couple of SOLIDWORKS users from Kicker as they walk through the process in this video:

In addition to a much simpler process to redeem this offer, we’ve also expanded the offering to give you access to 15 of the exams we offer.  This is twice as many exams you can now take for free as a part of the Value Added Benefits that being on subscription includes!  And remember, this offer can be redeemed twice a year for each seat of SOLIDWORKS on subscription.
