You can also roll back an exploded view to see the results of each step.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"What&#039;s New in SOLIDWORKS 2019 - Exploded View Enhancements\" width=\"1110\" height=\"624\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3V8WD4Ch5rE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"p stem\"><strong>To open the<\/strong> <span class=\"keyword wintitle\">Explode<\/span> PropertyManager for an existing <span class=\"highlight\">exploded view<\/span>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span class=\"li\">On the ConfigurationManager <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2019\/english\/whatsnew\/sno1464027981329.image\" \/> tab, expand the configuration.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"li\">Right-click <span class=\"ph uicontrol\"><span class=\"highlight\">Exploded View<\/span><\/span> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2019\/english\/whatsnew\/uqk1467905110862.image\" \/> and click <strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Edit Feature<\/span><\/strong> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2019\/english\/whatsnew\/jkv1482505143989.image\" \/>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You can use the following functionality in the PropertyManager:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"li\">Modify the name for a new or existing step. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"li\">Insert a step above the rollback bar.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"li\">Drag an active step to reorder the steps.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"li\">Resize the height of the <span class=\"keyword wintitle\">Explode Steps<\/span> box. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"li\">Click <strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Add Step<\/span><\/strong> to add a step. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"li\">Click <strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Reset<\/span> <\/strong>to reset options.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"li\">Click <strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Roll Back<\/span><\/strong> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2019\/english\/whatsnew\/vzh1516884477124.image\" \/> and<strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\"> Roll Forward<\/span><\/strong> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2019\/english\/whatsnew\/vpy1524064083692.image\" \/> to roll back or roll forward steps. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"li\">Suppress a step. Suppressed steps are not shown in the graphics area for Explode Steps or Smart Explode Lines. Suppressed steps remain suppressed regardless of the rollback bar position.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"li\">Specifies the default name to <strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Explode Step<\/span><\/strong> + number. When you select <strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Auto-space components on drag<\/span><\/strong>, the default explode step name is <strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Chain<\/span> <\/strong>+ number. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the <span class=\"keyword wintitle\">Exploded Steps<\/span> PropertyManager and <span class=\"keyword wintitle\">ConfigurationManager<\/span>, you can roll back or roll forward steps by dragging the rollback bar.<\/p>\n<p>Right-click a step located above the rollback bar to access the following tools:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span class=\"li\"><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Roll Back<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span class=\"li\"><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Suppress<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Right-click a step located below the rollback bar to access the following tools:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span class=\"li\"><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Roll Forward<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span class=\"li\"><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Roll to Previous<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span class=\"li\"><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Roll to End<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the <span class=\"keyword wintitle\">Animation Controller<\/span>, the following controls changed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"li\"><strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Fast forward<\/span><\/strong> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2019\/english\/whatsnew\/fql1495799586442.image\" \/> renamed to <strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Next step<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"li\"><strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Rewind<\/span> <\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2019\/english\/whatsnew\/yhx1495798308137.image\" \/> renamed to <strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Previous step<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"li\"><strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Stop<\/span> <\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2019\/english\/whatsnew\/knr1495799517848.image\" \/> has been removed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"li\"><strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Play<\/span> <\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2019\/english\/whatsnew\/gnt1517502812386.image\" \/> and <strong><span class=\"ph uicontrol\">Pause<\/span> <\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2019\/english\/whatsnew\/ftd1495799283796.image\" \/> are shared in one control.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In SOLIDWORKS 2019, you can go through an exploded view step-by-step.
