{"id":5228,"date":"2017-08-07T14:04:25","date_gmt":"2017-08-07T13:04:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.solidapps.co.uk\/blog\/?p=5228"},"modified":"2017-08-07T14:04:25","modified_gmt":"2017-08-07T13:04:25","slug":"solidworks-support-monthly-news-august-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidapps.co.uk\/blog\/2017\/08\/solidworks-support-monthly-news-august-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"SOLIDWORKS Support Monthly News \u2013 August 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to this new edition of the SOLIDWORKS Support Monthly News, coauthored by members of the SOLIDWORKS Technical Support teams worldwide.<\/p>\n<h1>Spotlight on Feature: SOLIDWORKS Composer new Functionality \u2013 Mirror animation<\/h1>\n<p><em>By Gayatri KESKAR<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>SOLIDWORKS Composer 2017 SP3 comes with a new functionality called <strong>Mirror animation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In SOLIDWORKS Composer 2017 SP3,<strong> Mirror animation,<\/strong> has been introduced to improve the animation functionality.<\/p>\n<p>With this new functionality users can mirror animation blocks that have been created using the, \u2018Animation Library Workshop\u2019. This reverses the order of the animation of the selected animation block, or of certain keys that have been selected within it.\u00a0 For example, if a \u2018Screw\u2019 animation has been applied to an actor, performing the \u2018Mirror animation\u2019 functionality with create an \u2018Unscrew\u2019 animation.<\/p>\n<p>This functionality only works for motion animations that have been created using the \u2018Animation Library Workshop\u2019.\u00a0 Animations that have been created manually, using the animation keys, do not utilize this functionality.<\/p>\n<p>To use the <strong>Mirror animation<\/strong> command:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to \u2018Workshop &gt;
