If you get the following error, it\u2019s possible that he SQL password that EPDM uses to connect to the database has changed: \u201cThe name and password that are entered in this dialog box are correct but the SQL Server user name (sa) or password used to log in on the database ‘xyz’ on server ‘XYZ’ is wrong.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

How can this be corrected?<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. On the EPDM Archive Server, open the Archive Server Configuration<\/strong> tool via the Start menu. The tool may already be running and can be opened via the System Tray icon.

  2. Click on \u201cThis Computer<\/strong>\u201d, then go to the Tools menu and select \u201cDefault Settings<\/strong>\u201d

  3. On the Login tab, click the \u201cChange\u2026<\/strong>\u201d button in the \u2018SQL Login\u2019 area.

  4. Type in the new password and click the OK button.

  5. On the Database Server, open the Database Server Configuration<\/strong> tool via the Start menu.

  6. Type in the new password and click the OK button.

  7. Go back to an EPDM client and attempt to login to the local view.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
