The trim planes are then initially located at the extents of the bodies, perpendicular to the blue Z-axis of the triad .<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2014\/English\/SolidWorks\/sldworks\/doc1292867246799.image\" alt=\"\" width=\"96\" height=\"92\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"listitem\">The flex feature affects the region between the trim planes only. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"listitem\">The centre of the flex feature occurs around the centre of the triad location.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"listitem\">To manipulate the extent and location of the flex feature, re-position the triad and trim planes.
