Each year SOLIDWORKS releases a new version of its flagship product. This year, during the 15 days prior to the release of SOLIDWORKS 2015 we\u2019re taking a look at 15 of our favourite\u00a0new features coming in this feature packed release.<\/p>\n

\"Export<\/a><\/p>\n

Export to AEC<\/strong>\u00a0is now available in SOLIDWORKS 2015. \u00a0Users often need to provide 3D models to AEC software users that design buildings, structures, waste water treatment plants and more. These users frequently design, develop and manufacture equipment including, light fixtures, elevators, etc. that need to be integrated into other AEC tools. \u00a0These new\u00a0capabilities allow users to easily export simplified models that are properly scaled and rotated for easy import into other AEC software using .sat format (ACIS).<\/p>\n
