Student Success in Education and Research Showcased at SOLIDWORKS WORLD

It’s SOLIDWORKS WORLD 2016, time to celebrate with students, educators, and researchers that SOLIDWORKS is everywhere. Certification is center stage today. The Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) Academic program has created 70,000 CSWAs and now qualified schools on subscription that provide the CSWA exam to their students can also become CSWP-Academic Providers.

Students that pass the CSWA exam and take additional SOLIDWORKS-based instruction can take CSWP through their school in a proctored setting. We want to help students be well prepared for the best careers working for our innovative, commercial customers. You can find more information on our SOLIDWORKS Certification Academic program here.

Celebrating success in education

No matter where you go, there are great stories here in Dallas. Teachers exploring science and engineering with students starting at age 10. MIT researcher Matt Carney made us think when he talked about his robots and structures.

We celebrate student team success in our SOLIDWORKS Partner Pavilion with engineers from Baylor University Baja SAE Team, University of North Texas Formula SAE team, and University of Texas – Arlington, Formula SAE team. These students have a passion for engineering and SOLIDWORKS as they share their stories on how they compete in major SAE events.

Introducing SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids

But for me, the best part about today was sharing the newest product in develop for your youngest users, SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids, a series of fun, exciting apps that use SOLIDWORKS technology in a fun way. Creative leader and User Experience Senior Manager Chin-Loo Lama shared an overview of SOLIDWORKS Apps For Kids and how they all work together. With a dedicated team of SOLIDWORKS employees, the Apps For Kids team created this software for their own kids. See more here (the story from Justin)
