Day 3: Good Morning from SOLIDWORKS World 2015!

We come to it at last – day three of SOLIDWORKS World 2015. While some of you might be walking like cowboys after last night’s event at the Corona Ranch, I’m sure you’ll all cowboy up and finish strong.

To recap Tuesday’s events, General Session was dedicated to the best community in CAD. From seasoned SWUGN members to up and coming education users, day two was firmly focused on efforts to bring the innovative training and tools that the SOLIDWORKS community deserves. These efforts include initiatives such as the new MySolidWorks Manufacturing Network and a desire to change the way students and educators approach engineering.

Customers also presented their lofty aspirations for hitting design challenges head on. For Astrobotic, it’s taking us back to the moon and winning a 21st Century space race; while Roominate is setting its sights on inspiring the next generation of female engineers.

Yesterday’s keynote speaker, Dr. Michio Kaku, presented his views on how technology will continue to evolve and investigated how the mind plays into creating the products that will change our future. He was also impressed at the audience’s love for pizza. He should see how much we love bacon.
