Top Tip from the Helpdesk

The angular line illustrated to the right has linear dimensions placed from end to end both horizontally and vertically. Using the distance between command this could take up to 8 mouse clicks.

To rapidly place these dimensions you can use the Smart Dimension command in conjunction with the Shift Key on your keyboard. The direction in which you move your mouse cursor will determine whether the dimension is placed horizontal or vertical.
