Virtual Studio+ Training Course now Available

With Solid Edge V18, Virtual Studio+ is now an integral part of the Solid Edge Classic package, allowing you to render your designs quickly and accurately at any stage of the design process.

Based on ‘Lightworks’ Technology, Virtual Studio+ provides the ability to simulate a wide range of materials, colours, textures, scenes and real lighting situations, and allows you to create high quality, photorealistic, or stylised, artistic, renderings of parts or assemblies at lightning speed. These images can then be used in Design Reviews, Sales Presentations, Technical and Marketing Publications.

This one day course will enable the delegate to build and render scenes within Virtual Studio +, providing a thorough grounding in the definition of materials, finishes, scenery and lighting studies

Tip from the Helpdesk

Did you know that you can change the display of the Assembly Pathfinder to show "Part Properties", instead of the file names? How?

Open an Assembly, then open the Tools/Options and switch to the ‘Manage’ Tab. Click ‘Change’ next to ‘Document name Formula’ and modify the formula to suit.
